Chastity Finished

My version of chastity is wearing armour because he represents the man protecting his family which was the norm back when the term of chastity was made.
Though the armour is not based on the time when it was made it does still put across the same meaning.

Though some changes were made to this character he still is the same. his armour is worn and tested but still stands strong and he will still protect all that he loves.

Chastity Body

I have now made the body for my chastity character and now all I need to do is attach the head and give him some armour.

 

Chastity Head

I have made the finalised head of my chastity character and here it is.

I have decided to make him wear a helmet as a symbol of protection.

Diligence finalised

I have finished my character for diligence.

Here is a comparison of my character and his silhouette. I decided to change his staff as a plain blank staff look quite bland.

The character is based around diligence because of his ever watching eye constantly searching and protecting those under his guard. The staff is to help him stand firm and stay his stance.

Diligence half way

I have now got roughly half way through making my diligence character and they are coming along quite nicely.

I plan to have the staff shorter and to maybe make his eye seem a bit more prominent.

Alien Head

I was practising with zbrush and without really basing anything around it, I made this alien like head.

Though I have no intention in putting it into my work, I find it is quite interesting and that is why I have decided to upload it. I personally like the way the head seems to be based roughly around an exoskeleton body.

Diligence First Try

After an hour of practice in making my character I have made a small demo model, but I feel that this character is very poor in effort and could be improved.

(Print screening on a mac key board using windows is impossible)

I have decided that since I could not choose between the two so instead I have decided to make one for each and will post them up accordingly.

Diligence and Chastity

I have chosen to base my character off of either Diligence or Chastity as both of these virtues can be made in my style without causing to many issues. Both of these virtues can be associated with armour and protection so I am probably going to base my character around these facts.

Chastity
Chastity is sexual behaviour of a man or woman that is acceptable to the moral standards and guidelines of their culture, civilization or religion. In the Western world, the term has become closely associated (and is often used interchangeably) with sexual abstinence, especially before marriage.

Diligence
Diligence is steadfast application, assiduousness and industry; the virtue of hard work. It is one of the seven heavenly virtues. Diligent behaviour is indicative of a work ethic; a belief that work is good in itself.

Character Design

For the project we were given the task to create one high poly character mesh and to have them fully rendered. The models also have to be based off of the seven heavenly virtues which are Chastity, Temperance, Charity, Diligence, Patience, Kindness and Humility which are the opposite of the seven deadly sins. I can make the character look however I want so long as I can give a valid reason how the are related to the chosen virtue.
